October 13, 2024 – President Donald Trump, during a rally in Coachella, California, on Saturday, addressed the escalating border crisis and revealed his plan to “target and dismantle every migrant criminal network operating on American soil.” The announcement followed growing concerns over violent gangs, particularly the Venezuelan Tren De Aragua, wreaking havoc in cities like Aurora, Colorado

The Venezuelan criminal gang, allegedly took over Aurora apartment complexes, scaring the living people and demanding rent, even threatening to murder the property managers. This gang culture has become increasingly prominent under this administration, and the Biden-Harris administration’s policies are frequently blamed by their critics.

And the Biden-Harris administration’s American Rescue Plan, according to The Gateway Pundit, allocated $3.8 billion to Colorado, with $5 million of that money donated by Aurora to Left-wing NGOs. These groups, in turn provided housing for the Venezuelan gangs and permitted them to run a crime business in the neighborhood.

Trump pointed out the gravity of the situation, and denounced the vice president Kamala Harris, the country’s designated border czar. He cited figures that showed Harris has had more than 13,000 murderers, 15,000 rapists and 425,000 convicted criminal illegal immigrants still on the loose in the US, while another 226,000 illegal immigrants are awaiting criminal prosecution.

Trump addressed the throngs at Coachella to pledge his action: No more half measures:

“In honor of the people that have suffered in Aurora at the hands of this horrible gang, I will invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to target and dismantle every migrant criminal network operating on American soil, and we will call it Operation Aurora.”

The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 allows the president to remove US enemies who are deemed hostile. Trump promised to make use of this law to get Tren De Aragua inmates and other criminal gangs that operate across the US off the streets, as soon as possible. He even offered harsh punishments to those brought back into the US from deportation:

“If they come back into our country after deportation, it’s an automatic 10 years in jail with no possibility of parole. And if that doesn’t work, it’ll be 20 years. And if that doesn’t work, I guess it’s going to be the death penalty.”

This plan from Trump for Operation Aurora also calls for putting all migrant victims to death if they inflict serious injury on an American citizen or police officer.

Trump’s sharp language lands just in time for increased fears about gang violence and border security. Attendees strongly backed his brutal approach, seeing it as an urgent necessity to reclaim the streets against growing crime and worsening conditions in many American cities.
