At least 22 people died and dozens were reported missing after historic flooding struck several Middle Tennessee communities on Saturday.

Vehicles and structures were washed away when upwards of 17 inches fell in one day, which, if confirmed, would be a new state record. The hardest hit areas were in Dickson, Houston, Humphreys and Hickman counties, about 40 miles west of Nashville.
