The video shows how Jack-O can control the field both from a distance and up close using her henchmen. Originally, her combat style was influenced by .’s real-time strategy tower defense Guilty Gear 2 Overture, though her character trailer doesn’t show off these features as much. Arc System Works hasn’t shown her entire kit yet, so it’s hard to understand the whole of her mechanics.
Jack-O first appeared as a playable character in Guilty Gear Xrd. Earlier this summer, in July 2021, Goldlewis Dickenson made his real-life fighting game debut as the first DLC character for Guilty Gear Endeavor. After Jack-O, Arc System Works introduces a final DLC character for 2021. In the case of Goldlewis, Arc System Works showed a gameplay trailer to familiarize players with his style. The developer will most likely release a similar video for Jack-O closer to its launch date.
Guilty Gear Endeavor is readily available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. Players with the Season 1 DLC pass will be able to access Jack-O on August 27, and it will be available for individual purchase on August 30, 2021.
